After a fairly decent box office performance, Ram Charan’s Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu, is all set to arrive on OTT this week. The rural sports drama has secured Netflix streaming rights, with an official announcement expected soon.
Box Office Performance
The film was released in theatres on June 4th with high expectations. While Peddi performed well in the Telugu States, the rural sports drama couldn’t meet overall expectations due to its weak performance in overseas markets and other language versions.
With around ₹335 crore gross at the worldwide box office, the film has almost completed its theatrical run.
Netflix Streaming Dates
Netflix has acquired Peddi’s digital rights. The South Indian versions are expected to start streaming this week, most likely on July 2 or July 3, while the Hindi version is expected to arrive on July 30th.
The streaming giant has been actively adding major Telugu releases, including recent post-theatrical premieres like Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
